Mid-century home in Gainesville was nominated to be listed on the National Register of Historic Places. Gainesville Modern hopes to preserve the great collection of mid-century architecture, like the Cassisi home resting in North Florida.

The Garrity family is the first family to receive the Michelle Park Family Recreation Scholarship from the City of Gainesville Parks, Recreation and Cultural Affairs Department.
