St. Augustine is the only city in Florida where Martin Luther King Jr. was arrested during the civil rights movement. Ahead of the 50th anniversary of his April 4, 1968, assassination, we visited the home of 91-year-old Janie Price, whose house King stayed at during his 1964 visit.
"After Dr. King left, I used to house the students from Gainesville that used to come over to demonstrate," she recalled. "I'd put beds on the floor, let them sleep there, and the next day, I'd send them off to jail."
