Adena Spring Ranch water permit subject of Tuesday water forum in Ocala

Tuesday night's public forum on the proposed Adeena Springs Ranch in Matrion County is expected to draw a large crowd. As Florida's 89.1 WUFT-FM's Sanika Dange reports, one cattle ranch owner's request for a large sum of water is causing many residents to speak up about proposal.

The public forum from 6 to 8 p.m. at the Ewers Century Center Klein Conference Room at the College of Central Florida in Ocala is being sponsored by the Silver Springs Alliance, Inc. and will include speakers from the Springs Institute, the St. John's River Water Management District and the Adena Springs Ranch.
