Marion County Horse Park Is Banking On Passage Of Speciality License Plate

The 2010 legislative session is coming to a close in Tallahassee. Closely monitoring the session are the directors and volunteers of the Florida Horse Park in Marion County. They are hoping to raise more than $200,000 annually if lawmakers approve a specialty license plate for this non-profit organization. The horse park directors are seeking support from the community to assist in operations and development of the facility. WUFT’s Michelle McKenzie spoke with the Marketing and Sponsorship Director of the Horse Park, Katie Wimberly, who says they are hoping for a positive outcome:
