The United States Postal Service launched the Informed Delivery program today. This program allows USPS to send emails to customers with images of mail that will be out for delivery the next day.

After thousands of signatures were rounded up, the Florida Supreme Court will rule on whether it will allow the Voting Restoration Amendment to be on the ballot in the 2018 election.

Two Florida residents on tour in their "tiny home" stopped in Gainesville last Friday, promoting their non-profit The Creative Animal Foundation and sustainability. The pair travels the country, speaking at schools and events to educate students about living sustainably while documenting their adventures on their YouTube channel.

The second annual Menagerie in Motion Kinetic Derby is set to take place in downtown Gainesville on Saturday. It features sculptures built around human-powered vehicles, like bikes and scooters.

The Women’s March Gainesville and Ocala chapter hosted its first general body meeting Saturday, Feb. 4 at the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Gainesville with about 400 people in attendance.
