Listen in as officials weigh in on GRU's controversial purchase of the GREC biomass pass. Hear from Commissioner Harvey Budd, GRU General Manager Ed Bielarski and Chair of the Utilities Advisory Board Darin Cook, as Nathan Crabbe of the Gainesville Sun moderates the forum.

GRU, which is owned by the city of Gainesville, is in year three of a 30-year contract with GREC and looking to buyout the contract and facility for $750 million, a move already approved by the City Commission. But if GRU does purchase GREC, there could be various consequences for the city and GRU.

Gainesville residents and GRU customers will also have the opportunity to weigh-in at this public forum. Visit WUFT News on Facebook to submit your own questions.
