The River Phoenix Center for Peacebuildingis providing innovative ways to resolve conflict in Gainesville. Heart Phoenix, her husband Jeffrey Weisberg and Dot Maver are the founders of RPCP and believe the building of peace begins on a local scale. The center, named after Phoenix's late son, provides services like mediation, communication skill building and restorative justice. Florida's 89.1, WUFT-FM's Kelsey Diaz sat down with the three visionaries behind the center.
