"News of the World" goes down

Paying police for information, hacking into people’s cell phones to get a story, misrepresentation—these outrageous practices sound like the plotline from Citizen Kane. But not so in Britain for the “News of the World.” The newspaper has closed following revelations their journalists used major unethical practices in the pursuit of stories. University of Florida Journalism Professor, Michael Foley, gave his reaction to the scandal to Florida’s 89.1, WUFT-FM’s Paula Cunniffe.
