As school supplies are flying off the shelves and lesson plans are perfected, the Florida Department of Education is also making some final preparations for the start of the new public school year. It has been a very active past year with changes to the F-CAT standardized test as well as the resignation of the states education commissioner Gerard Robinson. We spoke with Pam Stewert, Chancellor of the division of public schools who is serving in as interim education commissioner about what to expect this year, and a few changes we can expect.
