WUFT hosts several special events throughout the year--some fundraisers, others just a chance to give back to the community:

Community Discussions

In addition to our regular programing, WUFT will occasionally host a public forum on the UF campus to discuss issues and topics that are affecting lives in North Central Florida. We archive some of these discussions including:

Fanfares and Fireworks

Fanfares and Fireworks is the annual Independence Day celebration. Featuring local and regional bands, music, and the traditional fireworks display, the event draws thousands to the University of Florida bandshell.
