The Hippodrome Theatre is hosting the theater group “The Workcenter Of Jerzy Grotowski And Thomas Richards” this week.

The theater group is enjoying a two-week residency at the Hippodrome. The residency includes an array of different events.

On Thursday, the group hosted “The Open Program Studio” where anyone was able to come learn to sing and act with the group for free. There will be another “Open Program Studio” event on Thursday from 6 to 8 p.m. The event is open to the public and anyone including artists, dancers and singers is invited to come.

During its time at the Hippodrome, the group will take part in many different events including the presentation of its latest work, “The Hidden Sayings” which will be performed on the Hippodrome Mainstage on Nov 2.
