Teachers and all other ACPS employees will receive a 3.5% increase in salary. Not only does the pay bump go into effect for future teachers and contracts, but all current teachers will also get a check for 3.5% of the money they have made since July 1 of last year. Florida's teachers are being paid about $17,000 less than the national average, ranking 48th in the U.S.
