Alachua and Marion County residents will get a chance to turn in old pescription drugs tomorrow, no questions asked. Drugs can be dropped off at local sheriff’s offices from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Lowe says the event was successful last year, and they are expecting another large turnout. Alachua County Crime Prevention Unit Deputy Leo Lowe says this national Prescription Drug Take Back Day is hoping to counteract a growing local problem.
