A man suspected in five sexual assaults will have his first court appearance tomorrow in Marion County. Thirty-seven-year-old Michael Alan Frye was placed in custody early this morning, and the allegations of his crimes are particularly brutal and unconventional compared to the common rape cases seen by the sheriff’s office. WUFT-FM’s Shannon McCarthy spoke with the University of Florida’s Ronald Akers, professor of sociology and criminology, about the profile of a serial rapist.
