Fresh Access Bucks program extends the unlimited match when you shop at local farms

Since the COVID-19 virus pandemic, the number of food-insecure individuals in the U.S. has risen to over 50 million. Fifty thousand people reside in seven different areas of Alachua County that are identified as food deserts. The USDA reports there are many ways to define a food desert, but there are two factors when it comes to identifying one: low income and low access.
