Four people died in a New York shooting on Sunday, in what is now being called the “Long Island pharmacy Father’s Day murder.” Police say the four people were shot, execution style, by a man in search of oxycodone. A suspect has been charged with first-degree murder. WUFT-FM’s Paula Cunniffe spoke with University of Florida College of Pharmacy Professor Paul Doering to discuss the shooting and the country’s growing addiction to painkillers.
