Marion County residents work to save their “historic” theatre

The Downtown Ocala Marion Theater is a community landmark for many residents. The theater is also in threat of closing, if it does not prove to be profitable for the city of Ocala and the operating corporation Carmike Cinemas. Florida’s 89.1, WUFT-FM’s Veronica Vilar talks with the “Save the Marion Theater” grassroot group which is trying to prevent the venue from closing it’s doors.
