Ocala Police formally tie alleged serial rapist to fourth case
A suspected serial rapist has been formally charged in four attacks. Michael Alan Frye was already detained when he was charged yesterday for sexual battery and kidnapping relating to an attack in Ocala on September 19th. He is charged on those same counts in one other Ocala attack and two from around Marion County. Gainesville Police are continuing to investigate similarities between these four attacks and one which occurred in Gainesville in early July.
