Many communities have organized “downtown” music concerts to try and increase the number of people patronizing their businesses downtown. Gainesville has the “Free Fridays” concert series each week at the Bo Diddley plaza. This week it’s featuring the “country blues” sound of Caitlin Eadie. Hernando County has the “Rock Your Park” concert series this month in downtown Brooksville to commemorate parks and recreation month. The “Rock Your Park” concert tomorrow night from 7:30 to 10:00 p.m. features the group “The Roadkings.” Florida’s 89.1, WUFT-FM’s Donna Green-Townsend interviewed band member Dave Tyler who describes their sound as classic rock, country blues and more:
