Although most public school children are enjoying their holiday break, the North Central Florida United Way is still working to bring help to those children most in need. President Debbie Mason says they host a number of drives and programs to bring food, clothing and other essential supplies to those in need- even outside the school room.

She says United Way also maintains a 24 hour call center that north central Florida residents can dial to get important information and aid with food, shelter and rent assistance.
