Former Governor and longtime U.S. Senator from Florida, Bob Graham served as the Co-Chair of the National Commission on the BP Deepwater Horizon Oil Spill and Offshore Drilling. Graham says the recommendations announced and handed to President Barak Obama this week focused on three main concerns: safety, response to an accident and restoration of areas damaged as a result of the BP Horizon Oil Spill. The recommendations also considered the long history of oil and gas exploration and production in the Gulf of Mexico. Senator Graham talked with WUFT-FM’s Olivia Link about those recommendations.
