Florida Gator baseball meets Vanderbilt Commodores tonight for College World Series

By on June 20th, 2011

Tonight Gator baseball is back on the diamond facing the Vanderbilt Commodores in the College World Series. This comes after Saturday’s 8 to 4 first time ever win over Texas. WUFT-FM’s Corey Bachman spoke with our sister station WRUF Sportsradio 850’s sports director, Steve Russell who is in Omaha. Russell went to Nebraska believing the Gators were going to be the best team in the College World Series. He says from what he’s seen, the Gators are still the best hitting team up to bat. The Florida Gators and Vandy Commodores will meet tonight at 7pm in Omaha for the College World Series. You can catch live coverage on our sister station, WRUF Sportsradio 850 starting at 6:50.
