The Currys return for the 2nd Annual UF Global Health Education Mission Trips Fundraiser at Heartwood Soundstage in Gainesville on Friday, October 27, 2017. Director of the UF Global Health Education Program for the UF College of Medicine, Dr. Elizabeth DeVos, says, "Every year, over a hundred faculty and students from UF participate in spring break medical mission trips providing services to under-served communities and also allowing our students to work with medical students abroad and non-profit organizations abroad to understand better cultural competencies that help to make them better doctors and pharmacists in our communities here." The main event is from 8:00 to 10:00 PM, preceded by a special V.I.P. acoustic performance by The Currys with a Meet & Greet/Q&A Session from 7:00 to 8:00 PM.
