Gainesville commissions are set to host a Telephone Town Hall meeting on Tuesday, April 5, starting at 6 p.m.

As the commissioners prepare for their annual spring budget workshops, they are asking citizens to offer their opinions on the variety and quality of the programs and services in Gainesville, according to a news release from the city.

Residents are also encouraged to share what their priorities are for the city, the release said.

A database of roughly 19,000 telephone numbers will be dialed prior to the start of the meeting. Residents can pre-register by visiting the city's website or by calling 352-334-5032 to register their numbers to the database.
