Dixie County's Ten Commandments controversy is back at the lower court

The fight over a monument displaying the Ten Commandments in front of the Dixie County Courthouse is back before the lower court. Earlier the American Civil Liberties Union sued on behalf of a North Carolina resident who considered buying property in Dixie County but was offended by the monument, yet the 11th U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta has refused to take up the squabble. Now, the U.S. District Court will rule whether the plaintiff has a standing in the case.
