The UF Counseling and Wellness Center is executing two major projects with funds from the Substance Abuse and Mental Health Services Administration. The university received a three-year $296,000 suicide prevention grant in August from the administration, following a February 2012 attempted suicide in North Hall and an April 2012 suicide in Ben Hill Griffin Stadium.
