New standards for students facing the FCAT

The state Board of Education passed a higher FCAT achievement standard this morning. Going forward, new achievement levels for the statewide test will make it tougher for students to earn a passing mark. Marion County School Board member Bobby James says the change is needed, but there isn't much time to prepare the students.
