The Florida Department of Health released updated numbers Friday morning about the coronavirus in the state. Here are some takeaways:

--- 30,174: Total number of cases.

--- 526: Increase in cases from a Thursday night count.

--- 1,012: Deaths of Florida residents.

--- 25: Increase in deaths from a Thursday night count, with deaths of people who tested positive in Broward, Charlotte, Miami-Dade, Duval, Escambia, Jefferson, Lee, Manatee, Palm Beach, St. Lucie, Suwannee and Volusia counties.

--- 2: Total deaths in Jefferson County, including the death of an 89-year-old man verified Friday.

--- 2: Deaths involving long-term care facilities in Jefferson County.

--- 2,576: Cases involving residents or staff members of long-term care facilities.

--- 95: Increase in long-term care cases from a Thursday night count.

--- 281: Deaths of residents or staff members of long-term care facilities.

--- 27.8: Percentage of deaths involving long-term care facilities.

--- 317,540: Test results received by the Florida Department of Health.

--- 9.5: Percentage of positive test results.
