Buyer beware on football tickets

UFPD monitors and protects spectators at every home football game and with the Gator's first conference rivals coming to town this weekend we spoke with UFPD about the special security measures they take on game days. UFPD Assistant Director Brad Barber says planning and organization account for a majority of game day security.

Barber says UFPD takes into consideration the magnitude of the game, and they realize Tennessee fans have a reputation for being particularly enthusiastic about their team.

Barber says all agencies that participate in game day operations are aware of their responsibilities and UFPD strives to create as safe an environment as possible for Gator fans.
