Gainesville Commission addresses GRU at meeting

Gainesville Regional Utilities continues to loom over Gainesville City Commission business. At a meeting on Thursday, the commission discussed ways to increase revenue to change its financial approach to GRU and address the utility's debt problem. The commission also expressed concern over a state bill that, in its current state, would hand control of GRU to a governor-appointed board.
