The Centers for Disease Control estimate an average of 1 out of 110 children have an autism spectrum disorder. Saturday is World Autism Awareness Day. WUFT-FM’s JoAnna Wise spoke with Marie Trempe the founder of Autism Oasis, a school for autistic children. She outlined what people should be more aware about when it comes to autistic children.
