Local brewery offers taste of the town

Whether it's called Gainesville or titletown this city is no stranger to winning. Florida's 89.1, WUFT-FM's Chris Gilmore sat down with Swamp Head owner and operator Luke Kemper about the brains behind the beer.

There's something brewing in the barrels of Gainesville, and it's not trouble, more like hops.  For the past 3 years Swamp Head Breweryhas been bringing the  homemade taste of their beers to the Gainesville community and throughout the state. Head Brewmaster at Swamp Head Craig Birkmaier says now because of legislation it's easier for places like this to flourish.

Take a walk through the tasting room at Swamp Headheadquarters off SW Archer Road in Gainesville and it's not hard to notice the 1st place medals and trophies showcasing the various flavors of unique craft beers like Stumpknocker and Big Nose....(click below to hear the story).
