Remembering Hurricane Andrew

As all eyes keep a watch on Hurricane Irene out in the Atlantic, many in South Florida are remembering Hurricane Andrew.  On this day in 1992 this catastrophic storm struck Homestead and South Florida with winds of 150 miles an hour with gusts up to 175 miles an hour.  Andrew is listed as the 4th worst hurricane to hit the United States with a damage total more than 25-billion dollars and nearly four dozen killed.  The current mayor of Homestead, Steve Bateman, talked with WUFT-FM's Donna Green-Townsend about living through Hurricane Andrew.
