Retailers are bringing in the holiday shopping season early this year. Stores like Macy's and Target open at midnight Thanksgiving Day to extend Black Friday shopping hours. Other retailers are running early sales and bringing back layaway. UF Marketing Professor Barton Weitz says retailers are targeting a certain type of shopper.
