Drug agents hoping ecstasy lab bust doesn't tie to other incidents

What started as a police response to a suicide alert, ended in the only ecstasy lab bust in Marion County in recent memory. Marion County Sheriff’s Office Spokesman Judge Cochran says Ocala police uncovered the lab at 3450 SW 19th Place in Ocala yesterday.

Agents from the Multi-Agency Drug Enforcement Team joined the investigation which uncovered chemicals, beakers, and other manufacturing elements. Cochran says the drug agents are always looking at national trends to see what could make its way to Marion County.

22-year-old Dallas Keen faces charges of possession of precursor materials, resisting without violence and possession of drug paraphernalia.
