Power outage at polls didn't stop voters

An RTS bus hit a tree causing a limb to interfere with an electrical wire producing power outages at precincts 23 and 59. Although the power outage was brief, Supervisor of Elections Pam Carpenter says voting at those precincts continued unaffected.

GRU restored power within 15 minutes of the outage, so voter turnout at the polls maintained expected levels.
