Understanding the appeals process in capital punishment cases

Death row inmate Manuel Valle was set to be executed Wednesday at the Florida State Prison near Starke.  Valle was convicted in the early 1980s of murdering a Coral Gables police officer in 1978. University of Florida Law professor Bob Dekle spoke with Florida's 89.1, WUFT-FM's Paula Cunniffe about the appeals process in capital punishment cases like this.
