AOL will by the Huffington Post in a $315 million deal that will close by the end of the year. The Post is currently one of the top current events and global news sites, and co-founder Arianna Huffington will now work on AOL’s management team. Stephanie Brown spoke with University of Florida Center for Media Innovation and Research Director, David Carlson, about what this acquisition means to the market, and the future of online news.
