We’ve all seen lots of stories about gulf coast hotels besieged by oily gunk on their doorstep…with their rooms empty as frightened vacationers stay away. It’s conventional wisdom by now. But the statistics tell a different story. Gulf coast hotels are doing pretty well on average, at least for now. WUSF’s Robin Sussingham explains.
