Cedar Key Clam Farmers Play The Waiting Game

Hurricanes, the net ban, storm water and sewage issues are just some of the threats Cedar Key fishermen and farmers have battled in the past. The most current threat to the sleepy fishing village on the Gulf Coast is the growing oil slick which could potentially wipe out Cedar Key’s economy. Brittany Thompson traveled to Cedar Key, to learn about what the clam farmers there are doing to protect their livelihood.
