A hundred years ago Igor Stravinsky’s ground-breaking ballet “Rite of Spring” caused an uproar in Paris.

The University of Florida Symphony Orchestra together with Dance Alive National Ballet bring the ballet to the Curtis M. Phillips Center for the Performing Arts Saturday, March 16, at 7:30 p.m. to celebrate the centennial anniversary of this masterpiece.

“You will end up worn out just watching,” said Judy Skinner, choreographer-in-residence and director of grants and education for Dance Alive.
