UF mechancial engineering students showcase their skills in national competition

While some University of Florida astronomy, aerospace and mechanical engineering students are competing in the nation's largest science fair in Washington, D.C. a smaller group of students is competing at another event: The American Society of Mechanical Engineer's Human Powered Vehicle competition. While the event has been slightly less publicized around UF, it is well known around the world. Florida's 89.1, WUFT-FM's Kelsey Diaz spoke with team captain Roy Rada, who has been working on the vehicle for two years and is just arriving at the competition in Pennsylvania.
