With the recent approval of a blue tilapia farm outside of Citrus Springs, Citrus County is showing its support for small businesses. Citrus County Operations and Projects officer Gary Maidhof says the approval of the farm gives hope for the county which was hit hard by unemployment.

He says with the decline in residential construction in the area, the small business and agriculture industries have risen to the top.
