Ocala Police: College of Central Florida cleared after bomb threat, evacuation

The police department said it no suspicious devices or bombs were found in its investigation.

The Ocala Police Department announced Friday afternoon the College of Central Florida's Ocala campus is all clear.
After an investigation into a bomb threat on campus, the police department announced just before 3 p.m. it found no suspicious devices or bombs.
Now that the scene is cleared, officers will continue their investigation into the threats.

The College of Central Florida's Ocala campus has been evacuated due to a bomb threat, the Ocala Police Department said.
The college confirmed the threat on its Facebook page Friday afternoon, calling it a "serious threat," and asking everyone on campus to evacuate immediately. All classes have been canceled for the rest of the day.
