In a letter written earlier today, State director of the Florida department of children and families David Wilkins said : “Words alone cannot express the personal sorrow each department employee feels when any child in any situation dies.” The child Wilkins is referring to is one the DCF was aware of before her death. In fact, they had been in her family’s home investigating just days before. WUFT’s Laura McKeeman brings us more on this developing tragedy.
