December is National Drinking and Drugged Driving, or 3D, Prevention Month to promote safe driving through the holiday season. The Department of Highway Safety and Motor Vehicles and safety partners are trying to keep fatality rates related to drinking and drugged driving down with this year’s campaign “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over”. Florida Highway Patrol Captain Mark Brown says educating the public is one way to cut down on drunk and drugged driving.

Law enforcement patrols will be heightened from December 16th to January 2nd for the “Drive Sober or Get Pulled Over” national crackdown to enforce DUI laws.
