DUI case causing controversy in Hernando County Sheriff's office

An accusation of a security breach in the Hernando County Sheriff's Office DUI testing center may jeopardize one DUI case. Chief Deputy Mike Mauwer says the accusations come from contracted employees who refused to come into work to record a suspect's breath test refusal earlier this month. Deputies then entered a room they were not authorized to be in to document the incident. Mauwer says the employees made the accusations in an email along with resignations.
