The High Springs Police Department is bringing in the holiday cheer with a toy drive beginning today. Interim Chief William Benck says the community has been very supportive in the past, and he hopes this year's drive will be bigger than ever.

He says the police department gathers gifts so every child can get some holiday cheer, and any family is eligible for the gifts regardless of financial standing. Unwrapped toys, pajamas and books can be dropped off at the High Springs Police Department through December 16th. Gifts will be delivered December 20th.
