Alachua County Voters May Have Final Say On Airboat Curfew Issue

Alachua County could pass an ordinance, restricting air boat use on county lakes. The group “Quiet Lakes of Alachua County” is pushing for a curfew on county waterways, which would ban use of airboats between seven p.m. and seven a.m. The petition will be on county ballots in November.
