PALS Program uses teenage talent show to help troubled teens

The Partners in Adolescent Life Support program, or PALS, is hosting a talent show for students in Alachua County next Saturday, May 7th. Several celebrities will be at Buchholz High School to judge the competition. The talent show is meant to be a fun way for PALS to raise money and awareness for their program. The creators of the PALS program, Jessica and Shannon Marrero, were nominated for a Nobel Peace prize in 2010. Tickets for the talent show can be purchased at www.shands.org. WUFT FM’s Phillip Marks tells us how PALS uses this fun event to support a much more serious cause.
